1.                  You have the personal guarantee of Bob Bird that your inspection, assessment, estimate and installation will meet or exceed your expectations.  Your enthusiastic satisfaction is Mr. Bird’s highest priority.  This simple yet profound personal guarantee is what sets Bird-Family Insulation apart from similar contractors and peers. 

2.                  Green Fiber, Inc., the manufacturer of Cocoon Cellulose insulation gives you a Written, limited Lifetime Warranty that your insulation will perform at the installed R-Value for the lifetime of your building (transferable to new owners) and that the stated Fire-Retardant rating will not diminish throughout the lifetime of the building.

 

Our Standard Customer Service Everyone Receives; regardless of the job size:

 

  1. Our truck will not drip oil or any residue in your drive.
  2. Our installers will be prompt, on-time (unless hindered by unpredictable Atlanta traffic) and wearing uniforms.  This includes clean shoes.  When we are hindered you will receive a courtesy phone-call as soon as possible.
  3. Installation of your insulation will be timely and professional.  If another trade has left a mistake or we discover anything that would be of concern to you – you will be alerted.  We absolutely do not blow-n-go.  Often our crew tapes & seals a torn htg or a/c duct and secures loose security/alarm system wiring, etc while in attics.  Too often to mention we discover “trails” in old attic insulation where technicians and others have disturbed existing insulation.  These bare spots violate and hinder the effectiveness of your insulation.  We rake and smooth all existing insulation before installing our Cocoon cellulose over your ineffective product.  No one in this company smokes or curses, nor will disturb your property or neighbors while on site.
  4. Clean-up of our installation is thorough.  Your home will be swept; vacuumed and/or dusted everywhere our installation involves traffic.  We carry and use professional “movers blankets” to protect expensive corner molding, stairs, etc wherever our 3”hose is located in your home.  Exterior clean-up includes sweeping, bagging, and removing all trash from your site.
  5. You will be personally escorted into the attic/ work area and shown our work.  This includes using lights, and a measuring tape to give you the confidence that you indeed have the high-quality installation of Cocoon Insulation that you are paying for.  All clean-up is then inspected and judged by you before payment is received.
  6. Within a week of installation we mail you the GreenFiber Lifetime Warranty and a brief customer survey*.  Included with our survey is a self-addressed and stamped return envelope for your convenience.
  7. Approximately six months after your installation you receive a second brief survey* where we inquire about your enhanced quality of living and comfort, as well as the reduction of utility bills you have experienced.
  8. On the 1-year anniversary you receive a third, brief customer survey*.

*These mailings also include referral “rewards” announcements.  The average residential referral is $40 cash with commercial referrals higher.

 

What We Ask Of You:

 

·         The average residential attic in metro-Atlanta has summer temperatures as high as 150 degrees!  (That is why you need our services!)  We ask that you allow our installers into your home/building by 7 AM. during summer months.  This prevents physical exhaustion or worse.

·         Payment of our Product and services will be after installation, before our crew leaves your site.

·         That you allow us to leave a simple, professionally attractive yard sign in your yard alerting others of your wise decision to chose our company.  We return in 30 days to retrieve the sign.  (This is ideal for referrals and resulting commissions).
