Brand New Posts & Updates Throughout BFI Website!

However, this week (March 12, 2010) we’ve gone through the entire website and placed several new updates. Check out all the new photos, articles, tabs, and client stories!

AC/Heating HVAC Duct Sealing & Duct Insulation
Posted by: | CommentsBIRD Family Insulation completed an extensive duct sealing and duct insulation project for Cleve & Suzanne on their HVAC crawlspace ducts in February. We also replaced their sump pump and purged the discharge line. This project took our team of professionals two full days to complete. The before/during/after pictures of their project are below, along with Suzanne’s comments after our team finished in their home. The homeowner’s were enthusiastically satisfied half-way through the job with the immediate, dramatic improvement with their indoor air quality!

During: BFI stripped off all the dirty/falling duct wrap, and sealed all the duct seams.

During: Further sealing with 2-component spray foam.
During: Where fresh, new ductwrap couldn't be installed, the exposed duct portions were thoroughly insulated with 2-component spray foam.
After: All ducts have sealed seams, and fresh, new ductwrap throughout!
